If only enough people were interested in following me to make the e-mails annoying ;-). Likewise on the guilt thing... but there are plenty of people who feel a natural compulsion to reciprocate when somebody says they want to be "friends". Guess it's human nature. Twitter is fundamentally an opt-in platform, so I'm not convinced the spam thing really holds water -- and the blacklist is just daft.
